Eurotrip: Episode 2.

Spent a lot of time on friday night searching for the places in Benelux. Even though I had to catch the very early morning train, I slept at around 1'o clock. Woke up at 5.00.. was feeling damn sleepy but the excitement for freaking out was more!
Just managed to catch the S-bahn in time and got the ICE to Koln. Now an interesting experience in the train. I knew that Koln is the center for gays and lesbians and that got I got to see in the train to Koln itself!! two lesbians sitting on the side, hands in hands, touching each other where-ever infinitely often, and all.. shit!! I had no reason to move somewhere but just keep sitting there watching the live show! Height was they went to WC together... what kinda lesbian love man!! too much is their defence mechanism and weird fundaes..
Then had a little time at Koln to see the beutiful cathedral and river. Then caught the IC to brussels and chinmay was waiting there till my train arrived brussels-midi at 11.32.
Then as usual got the city map and started to see brussels.. One thing - people knew english nicely here.. had no problem with language. The best buildings in brussels was a nice sight. Palaces were awesome. For the first time saw a city with a perfect medieval touch.
Now we went to Brugge just becos frommers.com said that it was a good attraction but in public opinion it was highly underrated. And man! this city turned out to be a jackpot! To desribe the city in the simplest word - "The entire city was a show piece". Just anything made of chocolates, every shop with best of exotic things, river through the city, nice garden with swans in the pond, bridges, cute small buildings, and taste of medieval stuff. This is the best city I have seen so far! Seriously whosoever goes to belgium, just dont miss brugge.
Then went to antwerp and this turned out to be a mavali city. Red light area, negros, and signs of place being like amsterdam! But the port was nice and had a great time there.
Then returned back to Brussels and enjoyed the night life. It was awesome. past midnight and the city was alive and kicking. One crazy thing we found everywhere was people crowded in front of ice-cream shops in that chilling weather! Indeed fools.. but after checking this everywhere we too had ice-creams and one scoop (equivalent to 3 indian scoops) was just more than enough... Man! people just enjoy the night here..
Then came the painful part.. niteout at the brussels-midi station. But it wasn't that much of pain as we found 2 american girls and 2 guys and kept chatting for a lot of time. Over so many layers of clothing too the chill was unbearable... and weird part was we just didn't have any 1 or 2 euro change to get beer or wine to beat the chill :((.. the warmest place we found was the telephone booth.. some 1 degree warmer in which somehow uncomfortably I could sleep but not more than 30 mins..
So all the night stayed up and in the morning one shady fellow came to offer me hashish!... just didn't see at him and continued our sight-seeing of brussels. This place holds a great importance for european union. The headquarters, court of justice and so many important places here.. really Brussels rocks!
Then went to luxembourg for sleeping in the train for 3 hrs and pushing ahead in the trip. Now Luxembourg was just like a french city and chinmay put it as it was just like Monaco.. beautiful city with valleys, historical part below, the modern town on the above, dwellings of richest europeans, and overall a sexy city! Just roamed around and bid farewell to Belgium and Luxembourg.
So that was simply a memorable trip!
